Re-sourcing an existing harness?
Tariffs, lead times, or single-supplier risk — we transfer running assemblies from your current vendor: same drawing, same connector part numbers, pilot lot checked side-by-side before cutover.

Who actually manufactures the cables?
Shenzhen Cable is an independent supplier. We take your requirement, quote it, and coordinate the build with an established manufacturing supplier in Shenzhen. We are not that company's subsidiary, US office, or authorized representative.
Can you work from a physical sample?
Often. Send photos or the sample and we'll tell you what can be identified, what still needs a drawing, and what the supplier can match — before anything is built.
Can you identify unknown connectors?
Sometimes from clear photos with a scale reference, and more reliably from a physical sample. We confirm what has been identified before quoting.
What files are required for a quote?
Ideally a drawing, pinout and BOM. A part number, a datasheet, or photos with a short description are enough to start.
Can you source connectors and terminals?
Yes — genuine JST, Molex, TE, Hirose and others through Shenzhen's supply chain, with brands confirmed in writing.
Do you take prototype or small quantities?
They can be considered. Quantity and feasibility are confirmed per project rather than promised in advance.
What is the typical prototype lead time?
It depends on connector availability — we confirm a date with the quote rather than promise a blanket number.
What cable testing is available?
Continuity, electrical, hi-pot and pull-force testing, plus custom fixtures where the spec calls for them.
Which Incoterms do you ship under?
EXW and FOB are the usual cases; anything else depends on the shipment. Whatever applies is fixed on the quotation.
What are your payment terms?
T/T, with the terms for your order fixed on the quotation.
Can you source a cable you don't manufacture?
Often, yes. With a part number or datasheet we can look at sourcing it — including products our manufacturing supplier doesn't build in-house. Availability and price are confirmed case by case.
Do you make automotive wiring harnesses?
No. Automotive wiring is outside what our manufacturing supplier produces, so we don't quote it.
Can you manufacture custom pinouts?
Yes — pinouts are confirmed in the drawing pack and verified by continuity testing.
Can you provide overmolding?
Yes, including custom tooling; we'll advise when a molded part justifies its tooling cost.
Can you supply high-flex cable for moving equipment?
Yes — for 3D printers, robot arms and similar. The right construction depends on bend radius, motion type, environment and expected service life, so suitability is confirmed per application rather than quoted as a cycle count.
Can you use customer-specified connector brands?
Yes — specified brands are sourced as specified, never silently substituted.
How are engineering changes managed?
By written revision: change, cost and schedule impact confirmed before anything is built to the new rev.
Can you ship internationally?
Yes — worldwide by courier or freight, with export documentation handled.
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes — yours or ours, before any drawings change hands.
Who owns custom tooling, like overmold tools?
You do. Customer-paid tooling is customer property, documented in the quote, and never used for another customer.
What if parts arrive defective?
Tell us and we'll take it up with the supplier — repair, replacement or credit, with the response and the cause confirmed in writing.
